STAFF AND ELDERS

mark zimmerman  |  pastor

Mark is a pastor who tries not to take himself too seriously. He is well aware of his own shortcomings and strives to pastor, lead worship, and teach from that perspective. He grew up in Texas and married his high school sweetheart, Angie, in 1988. Their life long journey together has allowed them to accumulate 4 children: Cody, Casey, Valencia, and Kayla, one daughter-in-law, Kensey, who is married to Cody, and a whole herd of animals [which currently included 3 dogs, 5 rabbits, and 2 ducks]. Mark is a graduate of Lamar University and spent 10 years in the oil business before surrendering to full time ministry in 1998. The Zimmerman family has called Knoxville and White Stone Church "home" since 2002.

Brock has a beautiful wife, Bethany, and their five kids: twin daughters, Sophie & Ella, a son, Deacon, and twin sons, Langston & Riggs. He has a passion for God's Word, a love for the Smoky Mountains, and a special affinity for the Carolina coastline. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and attended divinity school at Campbell University.
