Here to Serve Our Community

Our Staff

Mark is a person who tries not to take himself too seriously. He is well aware of his own shortcomings and strives to pastor, preach and lead from that perspective. He grew up in Texas and married his high school sweetheart, Angie, in 1988. They have 4 children: Cody, Casey, Valancia, and Kayla. Mark is a graduate of Lamar University and spent 10 years in the oil business before surrendering to full time ministry in 1998. The Zimmerman family has called Knoxville and White Stone Church "home" since 2000.

Claudia grew up in the Halls community and attended Carson-Newman University. She has been married to Spidey (a few people call him by his other name – Donnie) since 1998. They have two daughters, Audrey and Erynn. In her spare time, Claudia drives a mom taxi.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Cody and his family joined White Stone in the year 2000. He began leading worship in youth group and met his beautiful wife, Kensey. The two have been leading worship and writing music together ever since. He has served as a band member and worship leader at White Stone since 2010, and before that he served as a member of the audio/visual production team. Cody has a degree in advertising from the University of Tennessee- Knoxville, and also works as a designer and letterpress operator at Coleman's Printing. Cody + Kensey have one son, Cole.

Stacy grew up in Knoxville and attended the University of Tennessee, but never went to a UT football game until she started dating Brian, her husband, several years later. Ever since he was a small child in New Jersey, Ed has always been fascinated with television and how it worked. He has worked in and around live television production since the early 80’s. He has been involved with every aspect of production during his time working with many different production facilities, churches, and television stations. He also has degrees in Electronics, IT, and has worked in Multimedia Development. He and his amazing wife, Lisa, relocated from South Florida with their first daughter, Betsy, in 2007. Their second daughter, Jenna, was born here in Knoxville a year later. They have called White Stone home since 2019.

If you spend any time around our church at all, you'll quickly learn one thing about our leadership: we are many strands working together; there is no one-person show around here. We believe we're better in community and that we can do more for the kingdom, together, than we could do apart.
