Grieving
- Lynda & Bob Weis – Lynda's sister, Sue Rowe, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. They are currently in WI for the services.
Provision
- Diane Sterie asked prayer “for all the single parents in our townhome apartments. Some parents have to work 2 or 3 jobs to pay for necessities. Please pray for salvation for them & their families, strength, peace, joy, provision, & encouragement.”
- Wyatt, a friend of Sieg & Diane Sterie, is in the Coast Guard. Please pray that he would get stationed away from the East Coast, that God would keep him away from bad influences, and that Wyatt will return to Jesus.
Medical
- Diane & Jim (friends of Sieg & Diane) – Diane has early stage uterine cancer. She is recovering from a hysterectomy. Please pray for continued healing and strength. Also, pray that she will be able to smoothly transition to retirement from her stressful job.
- Jennifer Skiles – Update 2/2: Jennifer is still struggling with severe headaches and BP problems. She had an MRI a few days ago and is awaiting the results. Jennifer had encephalitis in April and is now having problems again.
- Nancy Norris (appendix cancer that metastasized into intestines) – Update 12/11: Nancy is feeling good. She has energy and is trusting God to continue to take care of her. The chemo on the clinical trial is working. It showed slight shrinkage, so they are going to continue this treatment. She and Rodney have been driving back and forth to Houston every other week. It is a 2-day trip each time.
- Michael (Lynda Weis' son) – Is in very poor health including neuropathy and congestive heart failure. Pray that he comes back into a relationship with God.
- Update 1/2/26: Jase Cameron's father, Ron, has bladder cancer. He is most of the way through chemo treatments. Please pray that the chemo is working and for the next scan to show improvement. Also pray for his energy level and for clear thinking.
- Kelsey (Rhode) Coover, Kim Rhode's daughter – Seizure disorder. Update 1/2/26: Kelsey has been seizure free for almost a year, praise God. Kelsey had a baby girl on 11/22. Please continue to pray that Kelsey can get good rest (lack of sleep can bring on seizures).
- Bill Graves – Dialysis (Kim Rhode & Stacy Lewis' dad). Update 1/15/26: Bill started doing a new form of dialysis a few weeks ago and it is going great. Thank you for your continued prayers. His family is training to be able to do the dialysis at home.
- Update 11/6: Morgan Daugherty (6 yrs old) – They recently had another team meeting with her school. Knox Co is wanting to cut Morgan's hours with an aide, but the family does not agree. They decided to give it until January to make any time adjustments. The school is going to start introducing other aides to Morgan so that she doesn't rely too heavily on Ms. Karen.
- Clarissa Palcone (Clark Reyes' cousin) – Update 8/28: Fighting stage 4 cancer. Clarissa's latest scan showed cancer throughout her body. She will start an intense chemo treatment in a few weeks. She is ready to be in heaven but not giving up her fight here on earth.
- Update 1/2/26: Bobby Hayes' mother is well on her way to good health. Please pray for her to get stronger and not tire as quickly.
- Update 1/25: Parker Hinckley, Linda Moore's neighbor – The chemo is working and the tumors are shrinking. They will do some more chemo, then he will have surgery to remove cancer spots from one side of his liver, let him recover, then do a second surgery on the other side. Please continue to pray for him and his family. Parker is in his 30s and was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
- Kayla Allen (young mom – heart attack) – They are trying to give her body time and see if it heals on its own. She is wearing a vest that will shock her if her heart goes out of rhythm. Kayla, her husband, and their kids are all dealing with fear and trauma from the heart attack and coding.
- Martha Valverde (Angie Moudy's sister) – Still has cancer in her brain. She is undergoing experimental treatment and chemo.
- Button Carr (WS neighbor) – Is having heart issues. She asked our church to pray for her.
- A mother of a 7-year-old autistic son in NC reached out to WS asking for prayer. Her son is struggling and she is not sure what to do next.
- Josh Moore – Lymphoma. Update 10/15: His latest scan showed zero cancer. Praise God. He will continue chemo through the rest of the year to make sure.
- Maverick Couch – Cancer.
- Update 8/5: Meris White – Alexander disease. Meris is age 10 now thanks to the supernatural power of prayer. She deals with some GI issues because of her disease but is getting very good care.
- Cathy Henson – Salvation for a friend. Cathy Henson's nephew Cyrus – unspoken request.
