The Other Side of the Hurricane

It's hard to imagine a scenario more discouraging than weathering a fierce storm and thinking that you are through the worst of it, only to realize that you are in the storm's eye. Sometimes in life, we find victory in a particular area of struggle, only to be thrust into the fight again later. That feeling is the backdrop to Isaiah 40:31, where God's people are encouraged to wait on the Lord.
