Watch and Pray
On this Palm Sunday, we turn our attention to Jesus' time in the Garden of Gethsemane, where we're invited to confront a profound truth: sometimes the hard way is the right way.
Drawing from Matthew 26:36-46, we witness Jesus' emotional struggle as He faces His impending crucifixion. This passage challenges us to reconsider our perception of difficulty and divine purpose. Jesus, knowing His death was imminent and brutal, still recognized its fruitfulness. This paradox reminds us that in God's kingdom, what's good isn't always easy, and what's hard isn't always bad. As we journey through our own challenges, we're encouraged to persevere, understanding that something can be both fruitful and brutal simultaneously. This message urges us to align our will with God's, even when it's painful, teaching us to choose our calling over comfort and submission over self-will.
