That Your Faith May Not Fail
It's pretty obvious that God has a goal for your life, but do you know that Satan does as well?
We see in a conversation between Jesus and Peter in Luke 22 that Satan's overall desire for you and for all of humanity is that our faith would fail. Satan wants to see you give up when the road gets hard; turning your back on the God who made you and saved you. He wants to see you apathetic and cynical and angry and empty.
Simply put, the God of heaven wants to see you faithful. His enemy, the father of lies, wants to see you faithless.
In this final message in our series through First John, Brock closes out the series in the same way John closes out his letter: by calling the Church to stand firm, to pray for one another, to remain faithful, and to finish the race.
